The Disreputables

ain’t. It’s not OK, and it never will be. It’s not standard English, so if you want to sound educated, don’t use ain’t unless you’re trying to be funny. Use am not or a legitimate contraction like isn’t or aren’t instead. Still, ain’t has one redeeming quality. It rhymes with lots of stuff.
